On 25 September 2020 representatives of the Norwegian Courts Administration presented to the NIJ project team of “Modern learning environment for judges, prosecutors, investigating magistrates and other representatives of the professional community”, and to other employees of the National Institute of Justice the electronic resources available to Norwegian magistrates. Given the epidemic situation in Europe, the meeting was held in online format, including a virtual tour in the electronic information system of the Norwegian Courts and the Norwegian Courts Administration.
The head of the international secretariat of the Norwegian Court Administration, IwarArnstad, and the representative of the donor country of the project, Victor Drosu, introduced to their Bulgarian counterparts the possibilities offered by the integrated electronic system and the developed online resources in the field of criminal, civil justice and child justice.
The meeting was extremely useful for the implementation of the envisaged activities under the NIJ project “Modern learning environment for judges, prosecutors, investigating magistrates and other representatives of the professional community”. Participants discussed future approaches in working together and outlined the next steps for the effective implementation of the project.
