The NIJ is organizing a distance e-training on the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights

The National Institute of Justice is organizing a distance e-training on the topicEffective application and implementation of the Charter of fundamental rights of the EU at national level, which will be conducted in the period of 14 June – 2 July 2021.

The training addresses judicial employees in the bodies of the judiciary, engaged with the implementation and management of projects, funded through the European structural and investment funds, as well as for legal experts from the entities of the managing bodies of the European structural and investment funds and the Ministry of Justice.

The training format envisions the organization of a discussion forum, in which the participants will be able to discuss topical issues and ask their questions to the trainer – judge Nikolay Angelov from the Sofia City Administrative Court.

The venue is organized in implementation of Activity 2 “Strengthening the skills and competencies of judgesprosecutorsinvestigating magistrates and other legal professionals to apply fundamental rights” under the project „Modern learning environment for judges, prosecutors, investigating magistrates and other legal professionals“, implemented by the National Institute of Justice, with the assistance of the Justice Program of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
