The National Institute of Justice conducts a survey on the training needs of Bulgarian magistrates, judicial and prosecutorial assistants in the country, in the field of the rule of law and the protection of fundamental rights, focusing on the application of the European Convention of Human Rights, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU, as well as the relevant practice of the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of the European Union.
The research is organized in relation with the implementation of Activity 1:“Elaboration of framework for sustainable judicial training in the field of fundamental rights and the rule of law” under the project „Modern learning environment for judges, prosecutors, investigating magistrates and other legal professionals“, implemented by the National Institute of Justice with the assistance of Justice Program of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021. The results from the research will be reviewed and analysed by a working group of experts, designated by the Director of the Institute.
