The activity is focused on the delivery of trainings and the provision of support with training materials in Bulgarian on issues, related to the implementation of the European legal framework in the context of the system of fundamental rights and the rule of law. Trainings will be organized in complementary formats (face-to-face, e-learning and/or blended trainings, roundtables, discussions, conferences, etc.), tailored to the specific training needs of legal professionals.
Within the scope of this activity, an innovative method of blended learning will be deployed at the National Institute of Justice.
The NIJ is organizing training on “Nonverbal Communication”
On 20-21 April 2023, the National Institute of Justice organizes training on “Nonverbal Communication” in Sofia under the project “Modern learning environment for judges, prosecutors, investigating magistrates and other legal professionals”, implemented with the financial support of the Justice Programme of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021. The objective of the training is to contribute for the development of nonverbal behavior and communication skills in a working environment.
The training team includes Mr. Mark Segal, attorney from Philadelphia, international expert with many years of experience in the field of legislative and judicial reforms, including in conducting trainings in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America, and Ms. Katya Dormisheva, NIJ judicial trainer with international expertise in judicial training and capacity building of judicial training institutions.
