On 18 March 2025, the National Institute of Justice is organizing a face-to-face training in Sofia, on “Judges and Prosecutors as Leaders and Public Figures”, addressing the administrative heads of the judiciary. The curriculum will focus on the communication and the ethical aspects of management and will be tailored to the specificity and professional experience of the audience.
The training team includes Mr. Mark Segal, an attorney from Philadelphia, a foreign expert with many years of experience in the field of legislative and judicial reforms, including in conducting trainings in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America, as well as Ms. Katya Dormisheva, a judicial trainer with internationally recognized expertise in the administration of justice and human resource management in judicial systems in the region.
The training will take place within the framework of the “Judiciary Leadership Development Initiative and Training of Justice Professionals”, funded by the Bilateral Fund of the Justice Programme, Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
