On March 13, 2025, the National Institute of Justice is organizing a face-to-face training in Sofia on “Cybercrimes”, targeting judges, handling criminal cases; prosecutors and investigating magistrates.
The training team, composed of international and Bulgarian experts, will present an overview of the current Internet crimes, effective ways of cybercrimes investigation, the role of international cooperation and the use of electronic evidence; incl. practical tools for successful cooperation between investigating bodies and prosecutors, ensuring the professional performance of prosecutors and judges in the criminal process.
The training will take place within the framework of the “Judicial Leadership Development Initiative and Training of Judicial Professionals”, funded by the Bilateral Fund of the Justice Programme, Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
